On Nov. 5, 2017 at 2217 E503 responded to a hydrant hit by a car. Arrival on scene revealed that a work van ran over the hydrant and broke off the stem causing water to quickly start filling the street. PWC Public Service Authority was called and they quickly came out and shut off the water. DTVFD's Recruit Griffin, and students from Stonewall Jackson VFD, Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton VFD, Nokesville VFD, Dale City VFD, and Manassas City spent the day extinguishing live fires, locating and removing simulated victims, practicing forcible entry and performing ladder skills.

On July 13, 2017 at 7:00 PM E503B responded to a Vehicle into a power line. After arriving on scene the engine crew found one vehicle into the ditch at the VDOT station on the south bound side of Route One.
