On July 24, 2016 at 0100 engine 3 was called out to a vehicle on fire on White Haven Dr. Showed up on scene to see a vehicle on fire near a structure. A line was pulled and the fire was quickly put out. Prince William Police along with Dumfries Police initiated the call and assisted with the fire. On Saturday July 16, at 5:00 DTVFD held a training day to work with our upcoming drivers. We started the evening out with some basic scenario's then proceeded to get into more advanced training. While our new drivers pumped the senior firefighters took the recruits and showed them some hose handling and deploying techniques. Training went great and our people learned a lot. ... Vehicle Into Tree

On Sunday June 5th at 11:30 an SUV took the 152 exit northbound at a high rate of speed, lost control, and hit a jersey barrier then crashed into a tree. The first arriving unit on scene saw one vehicle off the shoulder into the grass. Auto Accident I-95N

On March 25, 2016 at 10:30pm engine 503 was dispatched to an auto accident possible entrapment on I-95N just before the 148 exit. Engine 503 was first to arrive on scene to find one car partially under a tracker trailer. Patient was able to extricate themselves and was transported to the hospital.
